I'VE BEEN A PERSONAL TRAINER SINCE 2010, AND HAVE CERTIFICATIONS IN KETTLEBELL AND FUNCTIONAL TRAINING.

 

I ALSO HAVE A DEGREE IN SPORTS AND EXERCISE SCIENCE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF BATH, WHERE I COVERED TOPICS INCLUDING EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY, BIOMECHANICS AND PSYCHOLOGY, IN RELATION TO BOTH SPORTING AND HEALTH BACKGROUNDS.

 

DURING MY CAREER AS A PT I HAVE HELPED CLIENTS WITH GOALS OF WEIGHT LOSS AND GENERAL FITNESS IMPROVEMENT, AS WELL AS MORE SPORT SPECIFIC TARGETS INCLUDING TRIATHLON TRAINING. I HAVE RUN A NUMBER OF CLASSES INCLUDING BOOTCAMPS, CIRCUITS, LAND TRAINING FOR COMPETITIVE SWIMMING AND CONDITIONING FOR KICKBOXING.

 

MY OWN SPORTING BACKGROUND IS IN MARTIAL ARTS HAVING STUDIED KICKBOXING, TAEKWONDO AND JUDO. I ALSO TAKE PART IN CROSS COUNTRY OBSTACLE COURSES AND MUD RUNS.

 

I HAVE ALWAYS USED BODYWEIGHT TRAINING AS PART OF MY ROUTINES AS IT CAN CLOSELY MIMIC SPORTING MOVEMENTS AND BE MANIPULATED TO ACHIEVE ALL GOALS FROM WEIGHT LOSS TO STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT. MY CURRENT TRAINING REVOLVES AROUND PROGRESSIVE CALISTEHNIC MOVEMENTS, WORKING TOWARDS PERFOMING MORE ADVANCED BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES INCLUDING LEVERS AND GYMNASTIC HOLDS.
